WINES

GRAPE VARIETIES
Touriga Nacional 40%, Alicante Bouschet 30%, Trincadeira 10%, Cabernet Sauvignon 5%, Merlot 5%, Syrah 5% and Tinta Roriz 5%.

VINIFICATION
Total destemming, crushing, maceration for 5 days with fermentation temperature control at about 25ºC.

STAGE
12 months in extra-fine grain French oak barrels and subsequent aging in the bottle for 7 years.

ALCOHOL/VOLUME
14,5%

TASTING NOTES
Colour/Appearance: Dark Ruby, almost opaque grenade;
Aroma: Intense aroma with notes of wild berries and very ripe berries, gooseberry, jam, jelly together with notes of chocolate in a very complex way;
Flavour: Intense, fruity and fresh, deep, complex and with good structure. Present tannins, but silky and mature, providing excellent harmony. Excellent evolution in the mouth with a pronounced aftertaste with notes of chocolate;
Food Pairing: Great to accompany dishes with an intense flavour, especially meat. It should be consumed at a temperature of 16ºC.
