CTX Liqueur Superior Wine
D.O.C. do Tejo White 2014
Grape Varieties: Fernão Pires.
Vinification: Grapes harvested in a high state of ripeness, destemming and crushing with maceration in a pneumatic press, full use of the must. Clarification and alcoholic fermentation for 2 days at 16ºC. Smothering with wine spirit at 77º and fermentation stop.
Stage: For 4 years in storage and 12 months in French oak barrels of 500 liters each.
Appearance: Clear bright;
Colour: Yellow amber;
Aroma: Intense and complex with notes of candied fruit, raisin, honey and light vanilla;
Flavour: Intense, sweet and fresh with body, volume and greasiness;
Food Pairing: It can be drunk as an aperitif with ice and lemon or paired with all kinds of sweet desserts or fruit. It should be served at a temperature of 11ºC.
