D.O.C. do Tejo Red 2016
Grape Varieties: 100% Trincadeira.
Vinification: Total destemming, crushing, prolonged maceration for 5 days with control of fermentation temperatures at about 26ºC.
Stage: 8 months in French and American Oak barrels and later stage of 9 months in bottle.
Colour: Deep garnet;
Aroma: Good intensity with well-marked red fruits, black plum, jelly, vanilla and toast;
Flavour: Fruity, soft and balanced with good volume, round tannins, persistent finish with final notes of vanilla and toast;
Food Pairing: Great to accompany intense flavoured dishes, especially meat. It should be served at 16ºC.
