D.O.C. do Tejo Red 2016
Grape Varieties: 100% Syrah.
Vinification: Total destemming, crushing, prolonged maceration for 5 days with control of fermentation temperatures at about 26ºC.
Stage: 4 months in Oak barrels and later stage of 9 months in bottle.
Aroma: Presence of wild berries such as blackberry and raspberry, jam and vanilla;
Flavour: Fruity of good intensity, fresh with good structure. Long, persistent finish with vanilla notes;
Food Pairing: Great to accompany red and well seasoned meat dishes, including hunting meat and traditional Portuguese cuisine. It should be served at 16º to 18ºC.
